サンフランシスコ慰安婦碑寄付決議案の結果

２０１７年１１月１４日、　サンフランシスコ（SF)市議会にて、SF慰安婦寄付決議の採決が行われました。
結果は、全会一致であっけなく可決となりました。

今後は、１０日以内にSF エド・リー市長が拒否権を発動しなければ、自動的に受け入れとなる予定です。

2015年の市議会から、もう何度も市議会や教育委員会のたびに、抗議文を送られた方や情報を広めてくださった方、いろいろなつながりで有志が集い今日を迎え、可決という重みとともに今日を終えることになりました。

皆さんの応援なくしては、ここまで抗議をつづけることはできませんでした。
今まで応援してくださった方々、どうもありがとうございました。

SFエド・リー市長が拒否権を発動するかまだわかりませんが、日本人の覚醒がなかなか進んでいないということを実感しました。
これは、覚醒している一部の日本人を除いて、政府も含めてすべての日本人がまだ迷妄の闇を彷徨っていることをあらためて気づかせてくれるものとなりました。
また、河野・村山談話の撤回なしに、SFにおいては慰安婦碑のみならず、さらに恐ろしい教育問題をとめることはできないのは必至だと再再再確認しました。

SF慰安婦問題においては、リベラルな土壌で中国共産党の人権派取り込みが功をなし、SFを真っ赤に染める道具の一つとなりましたが、SFから他の地へと飛び火しないでいつの日か、その中国共産党の元の地においても真の人権と自由が芽を出すように祈るばかりです。

長い間、皆さまにご協力頂きましたが、これがSF慰安婦碑に関しては最後の議題、そしてミーティングになるかと思います。

今まで本当にどうもありがとうございました。
しかし、もう一度だけ、お力を貸してください。今回の最後の抗議メールを是非とも送って頂きたいのです。

【ご報告】サンフランシスコ有志より　　2017.11.2

本日（11/2）、サンフランシスコ(SF)市予算財政委員会にて、慰安婦団体からの寄付承認決議の承認が行われました。

市議会場には、寄付をする慰安婦団体からリーダーのリリアン　シンを含め３人が来ていました。まず、リリアン　シンが寄付をする側の代表としてコメントをしました。

それから、私たちSF慰安婦碑反対有志７人が反対のスピーチをしました。その後、慰安婦団体からの２人もスピーチをしました。

市議の一人からは大変美しい像をありがとうなどのコメントがあり、決議は全体のボードミーティングに送られました。

SF市と姉妹都市の大阪市長がSF市長に説得を試みていらっしゃるようで、全体のボードミーティングで否決されない場合は、なんとかSF市長には拒否権の発動に踏み切ってもらいたいものです。

現在の時点では、皆さんから市議へのメール等のご協力を賜りましたのに、SF有志の力至らず、慰安婦碑の寄付承認決議が全体のボードミーティングに送られることになり残念で悔しい思いです。

今後とも何卒よろしくお願い申し上げます。

2017年2月6日サンフランシスコ市芸術委員会で承認された慰安婦像碑文

“This monument bears witness to the suffering of hundreds of thousands of women and girls euphemistically called ‘Comfort Women,’ who were sexually enslaved by the Japanese Imperial Armed Forces in thirteen Asian-Pacific countries from 1931 to 1945.

Most of these women died during their wartime captivity.

This dark history was largely hidden for decades until the 1990s, when the survivors courageously broke their silence.

They helped move the world to declare that sexual violence as a strategy of war is a crime against humanity for which governments must be held accountable.

This memorial is dedicated to the memory of these women and to eradicating sexual violence and sex trafficking throughout the world.

本日のSF慰安婦の日の制定の決議の結果についてご連絡します。

今日は、お忙しいところ、また急なお願いにもかかわらず、スピーチに来てくださった方、心の中で応援してくださった方、お祈りしてくださった方、どうもありがとうございました。

結果は残念ながら、9月22日2017年をサンフランシスコ市及びサンフランシスコ郡で慰安婦の日と制定する決議案、決定となりました。ただし、決議案に修正がはいり、この部分が消去されました。

US各地、日本、その他世界各地からのメールの抗議はかなりの数になったようです。

ここ２年間、慰安婦碑決議、教育決議、そして今日の慰安婦の日決議と、皆さんはお忙しいところを署名、抗議のメール、資料の送付、お知り合いへの呼びかけと奔走されました。

サンフランシスコに住む我々も、サンフランシスコに正義はあるのか、あってほしいと思い皆さんと一緒に歩んできましたが、壁を打ち破ることはできませんでした。

今日の慰安婦の日決定とともに３点セットがサンフランシスコに火をともしました。
サンフランシスコでは遅れ来る子供たちに負の遺産をのこすこととなりました。
力及ばず、大変申し訳ありませんでした。

しかしながら、このお一人お一人の声が、思いが市議に届いたのは事実です。

今後も、慰安婦推進派は教育等に熱を入れていくことでしょう。
そして、いわゆる南京事件などに、再び熱をそそぐことでしょう。
しかし、希望の光はトンネルの向こうに輝いていると信じます。

今までサンフランシスコのために、本当にたくさんのご支援、ご声援をどうもありがとうございました。

9月19日サンフランシスコ議会にて、「2017年9月22日をサンフランシスコ市及びサンフランシスコ郡の慰安婦の日に制定する決議」は「WHEREAS, The Japanese government to this day has never officially apologized to　those survivors; and（日本政府はこれまで生存者に対して公式謝罪していない）」の部分を除いた修正案で採択されてしまいました。

「慰安婦は数十万人の性奴隷、20世紀最大の組織的な性奴隷制、殆どが死亡」の文はそのままです。

公聴会では１０名が決議に対する反対意見を立派に述べました。日本人・日系女性8名、青年2名（内一名は白人）。
SFのように中華系が多い地域で、公開の場で反対を述べることは大変な勇気がいることです。
１０名の皆様を尊敬し、心より感謝申し上げます。本当に有難うございました。

サンフランシスコ有志からのお願い

サンフランシスコで、2017年9月22日をサンフランシスコ市及びサンフランシスコ郡の慰安婦の日に制定する決議が決定しそうになっています。
この議題についての市議会は、9月19日（火）2:00PM～、日本時間20日（水）6：00AM～です。

9月22日がサンフランシスコ慰安婦碑の除幕式の予定となっているその日を慰安婦の日にしようということです。
（慰安婦碑の設置については、既に委員会、市議会、市長がOKとなっているのでこの段階で覆すのはほぼ不可能だと思います。）

なんとかして、9月19日の市議会で慰安婦の日の制定を決定することなく、後日に回させ、なんとか阻止につなげたいと思います。

このまま、抗議、反対とうの意見がなければ、ほぼ間違いなく慰安婦の日制定は決定します。

皆様、お一人お一人のメールが慰安婦の日制定を止める力となります。ここ数日の戦いです。

どうか、抗議のメールを市議会の議員に送っていただきたく、ご協力よろしくお願い申し上げます。

Resolution declaring September 22, 2017, as Comfort Women Day in the City and County of San Francisco.

WHEREAS, The term “comfort women” euphemistically refers to hundreds of thousands of women and young girls who were forced into sexual slavery by the Imperial Japanese Army during its colonial and wartime occupation of Asia and the Pacific Islands from the 1930s through the duration of World War II; and

WHEREAS, This system of sexual servitude was the largest organized system in the twentieth century; and

WHEREAS, Most of these women died but those who survived courageously broke their silence, therefore aiding the movement against sexual violence during war; and

WHEREAS, The International Community has declared sexual violence as a strategy of war a crime against humanity; and

WHEREAS, The Japanese government to this day has never officially apologized to those survivors; and

WHEREAS, This system of sexual slavery helped pave the way for systems of sex trafficking; and

WHEREAS, Sex trafficking and sexual slavery during wartime is still going on; and

WHEREAS, The San Francisco Board of Supervisors passed Resolution 342-15 calling for the building of a memorial to the comfort women in San Francisco and to educate its students about the history, past and present; and

WHEREAS, The Comfort Women Justice Coalition, a broad coalition of immigrant communities women’s organizations, and 11 human rights groups organized to build the memorial for “comfort women;” and

WHEREAS, On September 22, 2017, the statue “Comfort Women: Pillar of Strength” will be unveiled in St. Mary’s Square Annex; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That September 22, 2017, be declared a day to honor and remember the Comfort Women.

サンフランシスコ慰安婦像設置反対の有志より
皆様へ

サンフランシスコの慰安婦碑の最終決定が近く市議会で行われようとしています。

最近の慰安婦碑、教育におけるサンフランシスコの主な決議等は以下の通りです。

2015年
9月 サンフランシスコ市議会で全会一致にて慰安婦碑設置決議が採択される。

10月 サンフランシスコ教育委員会にてミドルスクールからハイスクールの生徒に慰安婦の歴史を教育するという決議が全会一致で採択される。

2016年
４月 サンフランシスコ教育委員会にてカリフォルニア州の歴史カリキュラムに慰安婦の歴史を挿入することを支持することが採択される。

2017年
1月 サンフランシスコ芸術委員会‐ビジュアルアーツ部門にて慰安婦碑のデザインが承認される。これはサンフランシスコ市への寄贈となることが承認。

2月 サンフランシスコ芸術委員会本会議にて慰安婦碑、碑文が承認される。

サンフランシスコでは、中華系元判事の２人を代表に慰安婦碑、慰安婦の教育への挿入を推進しています。

サンフランシスコ有志、日本からの協力者など民間からは、慰安婦の真実についての資料、書籍などは何度となく市長、市議会議員、教育委員会、芸術局などに送っています。

しかし、そういったことを意に介さず日本をたたくのが彼らのやり方です。

民間のみならず、日本政府がはっきりとした態度をとらない限り、作り出された慰安婦問題にさらに創作を加え、日本の首相は性奴隷を正式にあやまっていないということで慰安婦碑、慰安婦教育が広まる図式になっています。

皆様からも是非サンフランシスコ総領事に阻止に向かって全力で動くよう訴えていただきたく、お願い申し上げます。
